Lan Xiang Yuan Vegetarian Restaurant

My first visit with my family to this eatery yesterday was a disappointing experience. We ordered zhi char dishes like the shark fin soup, nai you tian ji, curry vegetable, claypot tofu, luo han zhai.

First, the shark fin soup has only 2 ingredients (beancurd skin and carrot). Second, nai you tian ji isn't deep fried, but with a type of sauce all over it (yuck! the sauce makes me feel like like puking!). Lastly, the curry vegetable is so spicy which yani, the pro in eating chilli, also finds it spicy. Only the claypot tofu and luo han zhai tastes great!

But the chap chai beng's queue quite long. Seems like we should have ordered that instead. Sigh..
